Our Story
NomadStay Malaysia started in 2023 when I landed in Kuala Lumpur with just a backpack and a dream of working remotely while exploring Asia. Like many digital nomads, I spent countless hours researching hotels, coworking spaces, and practical tips scattered across dozens of websites and Facebook groups.
After three years of living and working across Malaysia, from the bustling streets of KL to the heritage charm of Penang and the island vibes of Langkawi, I decided to consolidate everything I learned into a single, comprehensive resource.
This website is the guide I wish I had when I first arrived. Every hotel recommendation, coworking space review, and tip comes from personal experience or extensive research within the digital nomad community.
